The Association of Clinical Pathologists is an organisation in the UK that is unique in that it is composed of medically qualified pathologists of all disciplines. The Association represents the views of these medically qualified pathologists. The Association seeks to represent the medically qualified practitioner by promotion of pathology and their role in this key discipline. This is achieved by supporting education, collaboration with other professions and professional bodies in pathology, representation to Departments of Health and other government bodies and offering its expertise to other bodies.
