WESSEX CELLULAR PATHOLOGY COURSE

Venue: Cellular Pathology Department
Southampton General Hospital
Two-year rolling course on Wednesday afternoons during academic termtime

This course is primarily aimed at Specialist Registrars in cellular Pathology although certain sessions may be useful for other professional groups. The sessions of potentially broader interest are marked with an asterisk in the timetable. The course runs continuously, with review and update every two years. Trainees may therefore 'join' the course at any stage during the two-year cycle, although for historical reasons Term 3 contains some of the more 'basic' sessions. The course contains material that is suitable for preparation for both the MRCPath Part 1 and Part 2 examinations. The course fee is £50 per session for trainees outside of Wessex.
